"This is my first season."
What’s your favourite part about working in Guest Services?
"My favourite part about guest services is the stories I get to hear from our guests! I love being able celebrate someone’s day whether this is their first time with us, or they have been with Chicopee for years and seeing the look on their faces as they get ready to hit the hills is truly what makes the experience unique. As well, working at a ski hill is a change of pace from the typical retail job, and I love having the opportunity to learn new things about the sport as well as the equipment we have available.
I especially love the caring atmosphere I am surrounded by every day at work! Everyone is incredibly friendly, and I enjoy getting to meet the other staff members that work at Chicopee. Whether I am grabbing food from the Cafe or chatting with the ambassadors outside, the staff here is always ready to greet you with a pleasant attitude."
What does a regular day in your life at Chicopee look like?
"My day typically consists of selling lift tickets, rentals, memberships, and answering any questions you may have about Chicopee! Occasionally, I’ll be in the retail shop working on private lesson check-ins or assisting with the tech shop."
One fun-fact you’d like to share about yourself:
"I am from Dallas, Texas currently studying at the University of Waterloo for tourism. This is my first winter in Canada!"
